Highlights:
I was with Sirach (my partner), Aiko & Kath, Jam & Lynnette, and the other pairs from the other levels who will have their defense, too. The judges were Sir John, a science teacher from the elementary department (forgot her name), and Sir Iyas. I wasn’t really nervous that morning but when it was our turn to present, my heart went like askjshajfesjb. I began trembling not only because of the cold weather, but also because of the judges. I was so timorous at the moment. Sir Iyas asked us questions that were like, “the fuq?” but good thing I answered them.. even though I wasn’t sure of what I’m saying. The words just kept coming out of my mouth. And luckily, we won 2nd place! I wasn’t expecting that to happen. But thank you, God! All the hard work we’ve put on to that research didn’t go to waste. Congratulations to Jam & Lynnette for winning 1st Place, and Jireh & Shann for winning 3rd place! :)
What the actual.. I was freezing the whole time! trolol we were in the covered court, and the wind was tremendously cold, and I’m so dumb for leaving my jacket in the locker. Anyways, for the easy round, I got 7 out of 10 correct, and I was like, “yeah, this is just a piece of cake” but then came the average and difficult round and i was like DAAAMN. Hahaha. It was fun solving tho!
There were 10 groups, and I’m in the 10th group with Kuya Ryan (4th Year), Julia Tabo (1st Year), and Euler Fortin (2nd Year). It was fun doing academics and other stuff with them. Hahaha. This MI challenge looked somewhat like a quiz bee but in a more challenging manner. Well, even if we don’t win, we still had fun! It was kind of boring at first, but at the last challenge wherein we were supposed to shoot the ball (basketball), it went great. I was laughing the whole time.
To sum things up, this two-day affair we had was actually awesome. Well, it is, for me! HAHA! (:
